We are organizing a reading group at VUB and UCLouvain on the braided 2-category of Soergel bimodules—a recent topic connecting representation theory, low-dimensional topology, and higher categories. We will follow:

The first session will take place at VUB (seminar room G6.60) on March 7 at 14:00. It will consist of an organizational meeting, followed by an introduction to Soergel bimodules by Luca Descheemaeker.
