Uwe EINMAHL

Uwe EINMAHL obtained his PD.D. degree in mathematics at the University of Cologne, Germany in 1985. He was affiliated with the University of Cologne from 1980 to 1988. From 1989 to 1996 he was Associate Professor at the math department of Indiana University at Bloomington, USA. Since October 1996 he has been professor at the math department (now Department of Mathematic and Data Science) of the VUB where he  was als chairman from 2012-2019. His research area is Probability Theory and Stochastic Processes and he was elected  Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics in 2001. He was/is  associate editor of Journal of Theoretical Probability (2006-2020), Statistics and Probability Letters (2010-2012) and Bernoulli (2007-2012 + 2022-2024).
