Willy Carlos TCHUITCHEU

Willy Carlos Tchuitcheu received his Master's degree in Mathematical Sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in Rwanda in 2019. Prior to enrolling at AIMS-Rwanda, Willy held a Bachelor's degree and a Master I in Computer Science from the University of Douala and Yaoundé 1 Cameroon, respectively, in 2014 and 2015. From 2015 to 2020, Willy accumulated 03 years of valuable work experience as a Research Engineer at Camertronix, a research center in Cameroon. During this period, he also undertook a guest scientist role at Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU-Germany) in 2019.  Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics within the Department of Mathematics and Data Science (WIDS) at VUB. He is affiliated with the Digital Mathematics (DIMA) research group and his research interests encompass graph representation learning, natural language processing, and machine learning.
