The European Mathematical Society has appointed Professor Ann Dooms as the new Chair of the EMS Education Committee for the 2025-2028 term.
Ann Dooms is a professor of Mathematics & Data Science at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium. Her research focuses on mathematical pattern recognition with applications in the foundations of AI, medical imaging, document and painting analysis.
